We Need You! Be a Volunteer

Are you ready for WordCamp Jacksonville? The weekend of May 20 & 21 is almost here. Tickets are now on sale, including tickets for our first ever KidsCamp Jacksonville! The first and second round of speakers have also been released, with more on the way. Be sure to check back for updates on session topics, speaker announcement and after party details – all of which are coming soon.

Interested in getting more involved?

Lucky for you, we are still in need of some volunteers to assist with setup on Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm and throughout the course of the camp. We ask that our volunteers commit to at least 4 hours, and in exchange for your time, you’ll receive a free ticket to attend WordCamp sessions and the afterparty.

New to WordPress? That’s OK!

You don’t need to be an expert to help out. All we ask is that you be reliable and friendly. Use the form on the Volunteer Page to let us know you are interested and our Volunteer Coordinator will get back in touch with you.

Our volunteer needs range from setup and teardown to introducing speakers to providing tech support at the Happiness Bar. Don’t worry, you’ll still get to attend sessions and enjoy all that WordCamp has to offer.

Your exact duties will be explained closer to the event – but if something listed here sounds especially interesting to you, please let us know on the form. We want the right people in the right spots!

We rely on volunteers from the WordPress community to make WordCamp a success. Please consider joining the Volunteer Team.
